Your role
As a Financial Operations Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring timely payment collection, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the smooth operation of customer-to-cash processes. You will work closely with finance teams, commercial stakeholders, and customers to resolve payment-related matters and deliver high-quality financial services.
What you'll be doing
• Manage collection activities for current and overdue customer invoices.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding payments and confirm expected payment dates.
• Issue and validate account statements in line with customer requirements.
• Support order release and order hold processes according to company policies.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and missing payment information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate cash application and account reconciliation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve collection-related issues efficiently.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Customer-to-Cash function.
What we're looking for
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a multinational company, finance operations, collections, customer service, or shared services environment.
• Understanding of Customer-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related financial processes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage, especially SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
