Employment Mediation

Employment mediation consists of providing assistance to job seekers and employers offering vacant positions for the purpose of concluding an employment contract. Astrea Recruitment Ltd. provides these services in accordance with the Bulgarian Labour Code, the Employment Promotion Act, and applicable regulations.

About Talentas

Talentas (talentas.bg) is a job search platform operated by Astrea Recruitment Ltd. (UIC: 203088121), a licensed employment agency located at 83 Odrin Street, Vazrazhdane District, Sofia, Bulgaria. Registration Certificate No. 1809, issued by the Bulgarian Employment Agency on 18 June 2025.

Employment Mediation Services

Services provided through the Talentas platform may include:

Job listing publication and search
Job application submission and processing
Job alert notifications
Career guidance and consultation
Facilitating contact between candidates and employers

Employment mediation services provided to job seekers are free of charge. We do not directly or indirectly charge candidates any fees, commissions, or remuneration for using the platform.

The Parties

User (Client): Any individual who uses the Talentas platform to search for jobs, apply for positions, subscribe to job alerts, or otherwise interact with the platform.

Operator (Mediator): Astrea Recruitment Ltd., a licensed employment agency represented by its Managing Director.

Article 1 — Subject

By using the Talentas platform, the User agrees to these Terms of Service. The User voluntarily provides personal data including name, contact details, education, professional experience, qualifications, and CV for the purpose of receiving employment mediation services.

The agreement for a specific mediation service shall be deemed concluded from the moment the User submits a job application through the platform. The agreement is for an indefinite period unless otherwise specified.

Personal data processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act, and our Privacy Policy.

Article 2 — User Obligations

The User undertakes to:

Provide accurate, truthful, and current information
Notify the Operator promptly of any changes to their information
Provide necessary cooperation for the proper performance of services
Not misuse the platform (including submitting false applications, automated submissions, or spam)

Article 3 — User Rights

The User has the right to:

Receive information regarding the employment mediation services offered
Exercise all rights granted under GDPR, in accordance with the Privacy Policy
Withdraw from recruitment processes or job opportunities at any time
Delete their personal data at any time via the self-service deletion link provided in application confirmation emails

Article 4 — Operator Obligations

The Operator undertakes to:

Perform obligations with the care of a prudent professional
Assist in identifying suitable employment opportunities
Present User applications to employers only where an appropriate legal basis exists
Provide necessary information about the recruitment process
Not disclose confidential information obtained during the performance of services
Process personal data solely for employment mediation purposes
Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data

Article 5 — Limitations of Liability

Without explicit written authorisation, the Operator cannot:

Sign contracts on the User's behalf
Receive or make payments on the User's behalf
Assume obligations beyond the scope of employment mediation

The Operator shall not be liable for any acts or omissions of employers, including any failure by employers to fulfil obligations arising under an employment contract or any other agreement concluded between the User and the employer.

The Operator does not guarantee employment and shall not be responsible for the employer's final decision regarding the recruitment and selection of candidates.

Article 6 — Remuneration

Employment mediation services are provided free of charge to job seekers. The Operator shall not request or receive any remuneration, commission, fee, or any other payment from the User.

Article 7 — Job Listings

All job listings published on Talentas include transparent salary information (minimum and maximum range, currency, payment period, and gross/net indication). Listings without committed salary information cannot be published.

Job listings are prepared and published by the Operator based on information provided by employers. While we strive for accuracy, the Operator does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of information provided by employers.

Article 8 — Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. The User may stop using the platform and request deletion of their data at any time. Termination does not affect statutory obligations regarding document retention and personal data processing.

Article 9 — Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be settled through negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to the competent Bulgarian courts in accordance with Bulgarian law.

Article 10 — Amendments

The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service. Changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
